Okay im going to start this with yes i know i can buy the bags that fit perfectly into my saddlebags for around 80 bucks. But im the type of guy that likes to do things the hard way and spend twice as much lol.

So me and my wife own a singer sewing machine from the 50s or 60s ( back when they made things to last) and i got the idea in my head how hard can it really be to make my own bags to fit in them.

So i went to joannes and got all the fabric and zippers and foam to attempt to make my own and thought i would share my trial and errors here for either a good laugh at failure or maybe a slight chance of succeeding.

Heres my starting point

Oh I know i could buy them but i feel like there is something i guess i would describe as prideful to making my own. And also I have quite a few projects coming up that is going to require upholstery work and i really want to do the whole project build myself, so im figuring this is a good start to learning how to do that.

Will do havent had a chance to work on them any more yet, should get a chance this weekend and will post some progress hopefully. Or it may be a complete failure and ill try agian.
