My late best friend Matt always said he wanted his demise to involve strippers and a meteor. The nuttier the world gets, the better that sounds.
What if the citizenry were to institute flop cameras aimed at monitoring our elected officials every move and cataloguing and indexing all their transgressions for public display and criminal charges. Do you think we could get our point across?

It is a question of balance of power, not whether or not you have something to hide or not, especially since access to the data is one sided.
All that information about your doings, your habits, conversations, etc,... creates a profile of you. Then, if (WHEN) the durps in .GOV go off the deep end, they can use that power to force people to do things they might otherwise not wish to do. Or, say you want to attend a protest, something that is still currently legal in most places, they will have a record of it (they already do this). I mean, the ways this can be used AGAINST even law abiding people is endless.
I am over being called a conspiracy nut...
They ARE pushing for digital ID, digital currency, geo-fencing, dynamic pricing, and absolute surveillance. This is NOT about our safety, but rather that of the powers that be. They want to have as much control us as possible to reduce the chances of us being able to effectively exercise that right mentioned in the Declaration of Independence regarding abolishing .GOV when it fails to do its job properly...

If you were a doubter, I would think the last few years of founding out about people in high places and the things they have done ala Jeffery Epstein and others like him would have given you pause to reconsider

Remember that Digital Currencies are like Firearms.
Firearms and Digital Currencies are not "bad" in and of themselves. They were simply a new technology.
I am of the opinion people have a right to own and use both of those technologies without registration and tracking.

My bad. I should have specified a central bank controlled and issued digital currency, not private sector digital currencies. I am NOT inherently anti technology just because new things are "Scary". You and I both KNOW that if a technology can be used to expand government control and power, it WILL be used to that end. The track record is so long I hardly think that is even remotely a questionable or unreasonable view.
The digital ID and CBDC go hand in hand with the mass surveillance, the three legs of the stool so to speak.

Cutting down the pole...too much work...too visible...too much time...maybe too loud. I was thinking suppressed .22 rifle...at night...thermal or night vision.

I guess we're going to have obtain body suit faraday bags soon...and a faraday wrap for our vehicles.
I did get a faraday bag for my phone for some reason a long time ago but have never used it. I guess when I go out with my .22 suppressed rifle that I mentioned earlier, sounds like the bag will be the perfect accessory.

I know in the city I work for there's a money threshold that the city can just spend before it requires any kind of meeting or vote. My initial guess is that FLOCK is keeping their costs under that to get their foot in the door and get setup before anyone notices, probably while greasing a few palms along the way.

Some activist already tried this. With the FLOCK offices they've been able to find as well, their offices are non descript and not easy to find sometimes. They get immediately chased off.

THIS is exactly what I am talking about. The sheer volume of data being collected is almost beyond comprehension and that data has to be stored somewhere. Then it has to be online and available for constant sifting, filtering, searching, etc,... These massive new data centers are not necessary for AI to exist and to be totally useful. It is the mass data collection/surveillance application of the AI that is driving the need for these data centers.

You might be amazed at all the stuff I can see and listen to on this little $25 USB dongle radio receiver.
Baby monitors, rain gauges, Flock cameras, car door locks, WiFi routers, cordless phones, cell phones, aircraft location transponders, weather satellites, door bells, etc.
I mostly use it to listen to hilarious local Police shenanigans while I work in my garage.
