There's guys talking, no one stepped up yet! I believe this series courses lend theirselves to be more adv friendly than TORCS.
 
Do you have any idea if they ride a different course, maybe with less gnarly obstacles?

No I actually don't but I might be reaching but from what I've read these courses don't get real technical. I'm betting he ran the same course, but could be wrong. John is an "A" rider on his normal bike, so capable rider.
 
It would probably be a blast, but I sure wouldn't use my Vstrom, LOL. I'd have to go get some used, throw down bike that I wouldn't mind trashing.
 
Yea, no way I'm taking a bike that looks as nice as his. But not lying, I'm not good enough nor strong enough to deal with a beast like that on a h/s course! And I'd hate to drop it and see my bike used for traction as I try to pick it up, lol.

Seeing his name in those pics explains this for me, yep he can ride. I can't imagine that skid plate being anything but a dangerous trap, would not even be a consideration for me and with his experience surprised he would use it.

The skid plate photo is not his bike.
