Hmmm... even I can't back that claim up.

All the horsepower of a triumph running on one cylinder, complimented by braking power not unlike of a piece of the finest hardwood being lightly pressed onto an oiled railroad track.

... sadly, still more than enough to outstrip most of us on the dirt...

Dirt, in Texas? Oh roads...

Speaking of Triumphs, a dirt bike that gets some real use...

Your choice. Do the juggling and sacrifices if you want it bad enough. I did have to cancel my trip south next week due to work. So can harass you now at Friday's BBQ. But tomorrow and Monday is Hill Country and 3 Sisters.

LOL. I expected to get it with him pushing the bike. This was at Baker so we were all queuing up for gas. There are a few of the old desert sleds still in use. This one is a pre 1968 by my best guess. Bunch of old Huskys out there are well. It's amazing where steel rims, 35 HP and bad suspension can get you...:rider::rider:

BTW just returned from the BMW meet over in Fayetteville. Lots of cool bikes. About as many GSes as there were other BMWs. Several air heads, a few new low mileage (under 100K) bikes. Got to see some old friends and get some good photos of the guys playing in the water at Cummins Creek. Oh, and one of the guys brought a Kawasaki with a sidecar. A ZX 14 with a side car!
