No license plate required for this ride.

Just as the other Hard Dual Sport Breakfast Series rides, this a no host, no entry fee, no tracks, self-guided ride.

Just a loose get-together for the hard dual sport community to get out and ride, enjoy camaraderie, exploration, growth, and being safe; in addition to developing and renewing friendships so no one rides alone.

This looks pretty close by work (2 hr), tentative coming up on Thursday night and riding Friday-Saturday on the Kove. Considering Sander's penchant for finding some tough trail, I may regret the bike choice but the Beta's waiting for suspension. Anyone thinking of camping?

Well, life gets in the way too often. Looks like I’m out on this ride. A work commitment has reared its ugly head yet again. Man, I can’t wait for retirement. Have a great trip. Post up some ride reports please.

The weather has been bouncing around but right now it looks great!

RuneADV there is some tough stuff out there but there are workarounds, your 200 would be ideal though. Camping would be awesome! Nice viewers and good camping weather.

hou2bos stinks but it happens. I love the place, we'll definitely go back, maybe in the fall.

My goal is to make it up this on both wheels this time.

Weather is looking good. Putting the final touches to complete a top end rebuild and other maintenance. Looking forward to getting back to NM.

Man this looks sweet. Hate that I’m stuck working for my overlords this week. At least I know some good footage will come out of this so I can ride in virtua on my own.

Confirming I'm in for Thursday night - Saturday. I plan on camping out there and running into town as needed. Was pretty sandy out here in West Texas so we'll so how bad Roswell is.

Change of plans for tomorrow, Thursday, only. Hackberry Lake OHV Staging Area

Then back to Haystack for Friday and Saturday.

The 230 is ready.

Hackberry should be fun, haven't seen the OHV area trails. Hackberry dunes is right next to there with some parking if you want the sand trails or dunes, and there's also a smaller dune nearby Anadarko dunes.

If I had to pick only one Haystack, mainly because of the plentiful slick rock.

We only covered a small part of hackberry, it has taller hills and some cool ridgetop single track. And there's an OHV dune complex just to the southeast.

The nice thing is they're close enough together to do both in one trip which we did.

Here's some Day 1 of Haystack videos, had a blast out there. First time ever on slick rock and appreciate the patience and help pushing the bike up.

Apologies on camera angle at times, was messing with chest mounts and should have stuck with the chin mount since the tower obscures so much.

Sander's "Kove Creek" video does make this appear as slow as it can be, felt quite a bit faster on the bike reaching breakneck speeds of 15 mph.
