New concept unveiled. Looks great. Doubt we will see it in production.

Another couple from that same article... I gotta say that's good looking, and not just for a Harley. Now, stick a license plate, mirrors, lights, etc on it and those clean lines get broken up... but still, it's a look at what could be possible.

I think I'd prefer 2-into-1 exhaust? Radiator shrouds are a tad bulky...

Concept. Small chance it will go into production.
Everything H-D has tried to sell that is not a hawg has been lukewarm at best.

Maybe they sell a few and then run Daytona and win again . Great advertising.
Did it say what cc the engine is?

Engine looks to be the Rev Max 1250 V-Twin, like the one they put in the Pan. I really like the notion of this bike, but I may have missed my window. Also, I can only imagine what it will cost. Oh well, looks like I'm stickin with the ol' Bandito! Never say never, however... If it goes live, that is.

Could also be the 1250T variant. Tuned for Torque as supplied in the Sportster which is 30 HP less but same torque, just all done a little lower in the range (about 750 rpm lower) and a lower rev ceiling too. Still, a satisfying engine.

I like the look of this thing. And it really isn't that far a cry from the Sportster S, so they could easily make it for production if they ditch the carbon fiber. But they could also make that version if they want a CVO ST version like on the Road Glide.

Looks Great just like that. If the motor co were to put it in to production, they will put forward controls and tail dragging rear shocks on it and wonder why it doesn't sell.

I like it, and I liked the XLCR also. IF they ever bring it to production it'd be fighting a legacy of sport-oriented HD's that just didn't sell. The most recent HD sport type I really liked was the XR1200R. 5 years and....gone.

The XR1200R and X were odd ducks because they had plenty of differences in their drivetrains. Fun bikes though. But if you're interested in owning one, I know of a well decked-out XR1200X for sale.

The RevMax has turned out to be unreliable and problematic.

I was intrigued by the Pan America, so I did a lot of research on the RevMax last month.

Harley had problems with the first two years of the Evo, TwinCam, and M8. Harley eventually got the bugs out.

The RevMax has been out for 5 years, and they still haven't fixed all the design flaws.

The smart thing would be to abandon it completely, and release a new product with completely new branding.

Like the Ford Pinto, Chevy Vega, Cadillac Cimarron, and Pontiac Fiero, Harley should just go silent and pretend it never happened.

Ape hangers, forward controls, 2" of ground clearance, and it just might sell to the their dwindling target audience!

Seems it's not all of them, some Houston guys have had no trouble with them and love the bike. But I wouldn't risk it.

Maybe but the customer base for the big hogs is dwindling as older customers die.

I don't know man. The amount of retarded Harley "slop" videos I am forced to wade through on YouTube to find useful motorcycle content indicates otherwise.

A whole lot of Young Guys are apparently clicking these videos, or they wouldn't be rammed into my searches for things like "BMW R1200 heated clothing".

This eye-rollingly retarded video is representative....
