My wife and I were camping at Inks Lake State Park this week. I visited the Hill Country Motorheads Museum - the place hosting the vintage bike event on November 2nd.

They had several bikes that were identical or very similar to bikes I have owned. Suzuki T500, Yamaha 50 (Euro model), Yamaha 200 twin street bike (2 stroke). Told them they need at least one Yamaha triple.

Yamaha Triple?

My bad. Figured you were after 2 strokes by the context of your post.
I had four 2 stroke bikes: Euro Yamaha 50, Yamaha CX 200, Yamaha Enduro 360, and the Suzuki T-500 Titan (a beast).

Kawasaki had those 500 and 750 two-stroke triples in the early 70s. I was in West Germany at the time, on my Yamaha 50 and saw GIs with more money than brains mutilate and kill themselves in gruesome ways - pounded into my mind that motorcycle riding can be dangerous.

I still have my 750.

Early 500s yes. My first year 72 came with a single disk from the factory.
I saw the aftermath of a Kaw 500 which took part of the front end of a VW microbus right off. Killed the rider and his passenger. Right in front of the A&W in Mannheim.
