Hmmm... "de-ethanoling" gas?

I have seen a few of these videos on youtube.
He does address the issue of lower octane after removing the ethanol, which many do not address. I still feel you should add some octane booster, even if you use premium to start off with.

For me, having to get premium for $0.60 more per gallon, buying octane booster, and time spent messing with this, it is easier to go to a station down the street from me and get 91 octane E0 for $1 more than regular e-10.
If you have a need for e-0 and have no stations around, I get it though.

Only thing I have that I want ethanol free for is my generator, and even then, I keep 2.5 gallons of e-0 on hand with stabilizer added, and then fill my other 15 gallons of gas cans with e-10 before a storm. If I don't use it, I add it to my vehicles. If I use e-10 in the generator, I just make sure to empty the carb bowl of any e-10 before storing it.
