Honda CB1000F

Nice short video. It sure looks like a cool bike. I wonder when it will go on sale.

any more updates on this upcoming bike?

back when the 2011-2014 air cooled CB1100 was in production, there was one or two Japanese shops converting them to mirror the 1983 CB1100F per this 2016 video:

Freddie Spencer took the CB1000F for a spin this weekend:

My old Shreveport boy. Remember him as a kid, already crazy fast. Called on his Dad's convenience store on my route. Lol, I have been on a dirt track at same time. He goes by fast.

That sure does bring me back to the early 80s.
That little fairing and profile sure reminds me of my '82 GPZ750...same goes for the GPZ1100. Neat bikes. Some of this stuff on the part of the manufacturers strikes me like the car companies did with the Camaro, Challenger, Mustang, etc. Beauty and style remain beauty and style even as time passes. Love it.

Motobob has the scoop!

122 HP
Shorter 1st and 2nd gear (compared to the CB1000R)
5 riding modes
214 kg - about 472 pounds
A bunch of accessories
10,599 UK pounds - 1,500 more than the CB1000R
Available in February 2026 in the UK
Go Honda!
I would be really surprised if this bike didn't come to the US

122 hp…😞. Well that’s about where the Kawasaki Z900RS is at 123 hp although the Kawi is a 950. Torque curves could be more revealing if the Honda is +/- 998cc. I test rode a 2025 Kawi Z900RS last spring and it was awesome. Having choices is always a good thing. It doesn’t look like it would take much for the Honda to look like an early 80’s Superbike replica.

This rare early 80's CB1100R

can be replicated using a modern 2017 CB1100 RS w/ stock FI, 6 speed trans & Showa RSU forks + piggyback shock

If this kit was avail. back in 2018-2020, no telling what the aftermarkets will come up with for this upcoming 2025-up model.

TD, can do. I restore early to mid 70s MX bikes. Never seen much of those on TWT so I didnt think there would be any interest in them. Heres a few

Just now seeing this, beautiful collection! I had a 1974 Husky 250. Rode and raced it a little back then!

The header pipe bends on a lot of these newer model bikes just look strange to me.
It's function over form and form over function combined, a compromise. Header length shapes the torque curve, but making the header the right length for mid range torque sometimes pushes the muffler too far past the rear tire.
