That little fairing and profile sure reminds me of my '82 GPZ750...same goes for the GPZ1100. Neat bikes. Some of this stuff on the part of the manufacturers strikes me like the car companies did with the Camaro, Challenger, Mustang, etc. Beauty and style remain beauty and style even as time passes. Love it.That sure does bring me back to the early 80s.

It's function over form and form over function combined, a compromise. Header length shapes the torque curve, but making the header the right length for mid range torque sometimes pushes the muffler too far past the rear tire.The header pipe bends on a lot of these newer model bikes just look strange to me.
