Honda CB500X Mid-Weight Adventure Bike

If that is about my CB500X, it's a 2013, 17" stock wheels.

I'm currently riding it home from Pennsylvania. Unfortunately don't have much time for scenery so it's a lot of slab. 🤮

@randypower was nice enough to let me ride his CB500X a while back and there is a big difference between the engine and suspension on the two bikes.

The Honda engine is noticeably smoother by comparison and feels like it makes power later. And the suspension on the Honda was super soft, as with most of them.

The KTM engine is more punchy, but not smooth. The KTM suspension is much more firm. Being a big guy, I appreciate that.

I'd rather ride the CB500X on the highway and the KTM everywhere else.
The bike I’m looking for would mainly see slab and doubtful it would see much highway. This is for surface streets only keeping in and around Houston. I have a dual sport for dirt and gravel roads and a vstrom for the road. I just was interested in the CBX for the looks, relatively light weight for what it is and upright seating

So I might be selling mine. I’m negotiating on another bit larger street oriented ADV bike. If I buy it this on going on the market. Don’t ask, I don’t know what I’ll be asking yet, but I’m sure it will be outrageous!, lol It has Givi crash bars, untested, Givi auxiliary lights, some sort of Givi bag mounts and a pelican box.
