i'm no expert, but i would have thought that was a Rhode Island Red. shows how much i know 'bout chickens. i did enjoy keeping 3 hens once, in another life. So, thanks for posting!

You know what, after researching some more, I do think you're right. I bought them as chicks advertised as "red pullets" at TSC, "mixed" breed and now that I compare them with Golden Comet pics, they definitely look more like RIR than GC's. Thanks!
