Howdy y'all! We are doing a "soft" opening beginning on June 30th for the 4th of July weekend! The first 10 registered riders each day ride free ! There will be about 20 challenges open. And one perimeter trail of about 1 1/2 miles, along with free riding on the additional 52 acre's connecting to the 13 acre challenge area. There will be portable restrooms and cold drinking water. The city water is not connected yet and the driveway is new. I'm trying to attach pics and descriptions of the challenges and a flyover video. The website is up but not finished as some of the info is just filler. Y'all call with ?'s and please pre register do we can do the legal stuff. (903.975.4987)Thank you. Bull.

Cool, wish this was around back when I was riding overweight pigs in the dirt. I must say though, the shot of the moguls got me to thinking those were graves of the adventurous types that didn’t make the course at first. :lol2:
haha ! Lol. No we have still to run them down a little more. Guess who does that ! You tube here we go !
 
This looks tailor made to host any number of ADV clinics. Well done so far!

I'm a sissy when it comes to riding dirt in this heat so I'm going to have to wait a little bit, but so far it looks like y'all are off to a great start.

I know you said videos, and I'll just echo that. If there is anything this group likes seeing is some short highlight videos of the place and what it has to offer. You will certainly win some folks over that way!

Thank you ! Yes I'll be making videos today ! Hopefully some of the riders in action ! ( with their permission, of course!). We've been working hard on the challenges, signage and dirt/driveway work, restrooms and such. This Texas heat slows us down a bit, oh wait no, it's the humidity, whichever. Plenty of shade and a nice breeze through the park makes it easy to slow down your pace and enjoy. First 10 riders each day free for the 4th of July holiday. Register ahead and we'll have an envelope waiting for you, pick it up and "Whoop and Ride!". Thank y'all ! Bull
 
Had a **** of a time out there. Wish I took more photos but we were too busy having fun with the place all to ourselves.

Those burms that are close together got the best of me a few times.

There are several obstacle courses set up with varying levels of difficulty. They are pretty technical and great for learning tight turns in off camber terrain.



Ed dropped his CBX quite a few times but I was impressed considering it was the first time he's ever ridden offroad. He was getting it done on that little Honda. Even in the sandbox on his stock tires 🤙

Need to upload some of the video I recorded when I have a chance to edit it.

Some of the challenges took several attempts and wore us out but there was plenty of ice cold water on hand.

These folks have set up a massive playground for us.

There was also some really nice and relaxing two track and plenty of pasture land to let it rip. They showed us some of the trails they are in the progress of clearing and I'm sure it will be a great spot for weekend camping, ADV classes, and training for long distance trips like BDRs and the TAT.

Took a break at Mi Cocinita outside of Quitman and wolfed down some of the best tacos I've ever had. (Highly recommend!) Then we went back for a few more runs before we headed home.

Thank you Revelc and Ed for coming to play and practice at the park today ! We had a wonderful time watching y'all ! Thank you for bringing our dream to reality ! We saw Ed's skills progression through out the day which is impressive. Didn't know it was his first venture off road. Can't wait to meet some new riders and watch them develop their skills and have some FUN doing it ! Thank y'all again! Ride safe! Bull !
 
Y'all sound like great folks.
Felt like I was back on my parents farm. Salt of the earth, hard working people.

They were waiting for us with a cooler full of bottled water when we rolled in. Bull gave us a tour of the challenges and probably had a good laugh watching go a-- over tea kettle a few times in the first 5 minutes.

I'm honestly not sure who was more excited about us being there.
 
Wow, what a blessing. You only 35 minutes away. Will be calling you asap.

With Barnwell Mt only 30 minutes away and Davy’s 44 minutes, East Texas is quickly becoming the Adventure destination for riders.

Howdy ! We had a great time yesterday watching y'all ! Your progress was evident as the day wore on in the heat but, after a water break or two, or three, y'all kept coming back for more ! That means something. The Norden sounds great and has some scoot to it ! Another group coming today and we'll be out there early with fresh cold drinking water, eager to meet y'all and watch your skills improve. AND have fun doing it. We're trying to be everything to every riders skill level. Old streeters first time off road on a new bike. Novice riders on new ride. Old off roaders on their trusty steed. What's easy to some may be difficult for others. It was humbling to see that experienced rider come to me after 30 minutes with a giant Texas grin showing through a full face helmet and gave a big fist bump then he was gone again with a big exhaust rap out of the norden ! Well said! Y'all enjoy, we're having a hoot here ! Ride safe! Bull
