Finally getting around to sharing these, but I took them back on 9/20/2019. There was about a 2 week frenzy at my house with the hummers, and I loved every second of it. Always sad to see them go. Some of my favorite pictures I captured are below, along with the link to the full gallery for anyone interested.

What were you shooting with/at
 
Great pics! I would also be neat to use faster glass to try to freeze those wings. But then you'd lose the dramatic effect that you captured with the blur.

Thanks! I was actually trying to get the blur in the wings. The challenge was to get a sharp photo on the eye, while shooting at a bit of a lower shutter speed to show the motion. My thought was to capture them like a race car or bike, with the wheels showing the motion. Lots of swings and misses, but I'm happy with a handful of them. Maybe next year I'll get some with "frozen" wings as well for some variety. :thumb:
