We are on the saint joe River. Pretty awesome day....details later

That's a LONG way from home, but looks like you're having a great time.

Thanks for taking the time to video and post and let us ride along virtually.

Day 7: Yesterday we did 130 miles of dirt. About 1/3 of that was pretty difficult.

Had dinner in Clark fork Idaho when we came off section 7.

Camped in the National Forest last night south of sandpoint Idaho.

Mister, Mister,

You almost lost it in the mud on the AT. I was doing something like that on my FZ09 last year in Colorado. Sometimes the crunching snow offers better traction than the softening soil next to it.

What a difference a year makes, this year, Southern Colorado is on fire (again). Idaho definitely looks lusher.

Fun video!

Safe travels,

RB

What's the next impending point of Doom hahaha :lol2: I hear ya :thumb:

Day 6 4 of 4

Did you download the BDR track into copilot?

No I used guru , I think it used to be called Galileo

I use copilot for covering point a to point b with a special route.

I use google maps for everything else.

Duke has the Bdr file on his Garmin, but as usual the Garmin has “issues “

I'll check it out. I've had co-pilot for years and was just trying to download tracks into it but it looks like they have to be pretty short to work.

Anyhow great videos. I did the cdr through Idaho last year and am gonna try to head up for the BDR in two weeks. Love me some Idaho. Yall be safe and continue having fun!!!

Red Lodge huh? I'm about to be headed that direction, we can maybe high five as we pass one another.

What do you do to keep your butt from hurting after all those miles?

Work my *** out everyday throughout the year [emoji23]

In addition, every bike I have ever owned except my gold wings, I had to replace the OEM seat. On the twin I used seat concepts. It worked out well.

In addition I use a seat hawk and beads

Remember 7 started 2 finished. Duke also runs marathons. Physical fitness is a huge part to long distant adventure riding.

The other 5 gave up the ghost after the first 100 miles.

Idaho BDR is very intense!
