People lose or misplace common sockets.
Ditto. And if they do by some fluke of nature hit the floor you know **** well it's headed straight under that big heavy toolbox...where sockets go to die.I can find the tools I have stored, but the ones I'm using at the time... set it down, turn around, gone.

True that, kind of like how the peanut butter side always lands down.
That's why you just put a second layer on the top. No matter what PB side is up!
Oh, I cannot relate to that. I could be blindfolded and still walk into my garage and find any tool I needed. Always put back in the same place after each use. Same for my keys, wallet and cell phone. Never lost one in 58 years or spent more than 10 minutes cumulative over that same time period searching for them either.
I know some people though that spend 10 minutes each and every day searching for something. That's more than 1/2 year over the average life expectancy. > 1/2 year of your life wasted for nothing. hard to comprehend.

I can show you anytime. I can also teach you the advanced method. For that I will first attach concrete blocks to you for your attempt. Please tell us how you can walk on water. Inquiring minds want to know.

Frivolous or not, it's not a waste if it's your choice.Pity the person who doesn't have 10 minutes a day to waste on frivolous activity. Like spending time responding to internet posts. There, I just wasted my ten minutes. Gotta go be productive ... wait ... I'm retired.
