Jeff was riding deep in the outback north of Terlingua near "top of the world" and the front washed out on his bike and it slammed down on his right leg.
after four hours they finally got him to Alpine hospital where it was found that he broke both bones in his lower leg pretty badly.
as of right now he is on a air ambulance on his way to a orthopedic specialist in Odessa.
he could use a few prayers if you can spare them.

Seasons Greetings & a plane ride

Sorry to hear it, but it is at least good that we can hear it from you directly! I hope the recovery goes well and quickly without too much nagging by non riding friends ;-)

Prayers sent. Heal quick and follow the Dr’s therapy orders

Dang, sorry to hear that, but glad to hear its not worse. Heal up quick!

Orthopedic Dr said it looks like three pins and a rod.
But they are going to do a cat scan first to check before surgery.
So I'm waiting on that.

Hope you heal up soon! You know out west when a broke leg was there, the cowboy pulled out the gun to shoot the animal, just saying :)

Jeff, so sorry to hear this. I know all too well what it's like. Let us know if there is anything we can help with.

Jeff I am Praying for you. This should be a great ride report to start 2019.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Wasn't too long ago I was there, albeit not as severe as yours. I guess the bright side is you're going to be healing over the lousiest months of the year.

Hang in there!

Wow, good thing you were there to break the bike’s fall. Hope you are back in the saddle soon.
:flip:

Let me know if I can help in any way.
Prayers up!
