Kevin’s 2021 wanderings

You riding again this weekend misterBA?

I hope not...but then again, you are a tough old bird. :)

I would be if I were home.

Spending the weekend in Houston with family. I had to bank some “ Honey I want to spend time with you” hours.

I am thinking next Friday and Saturday it might be time to camp at Palo Duro canyon in Amarillo. Weather looks perfect.

Good thing I still have my klim lattitude gear.

BTW: per @Jarrett it is Mr. Adventure [emoji23]

Just think of the chunks o flesh in the materials of your pics it would have taken. Would have looked like some of those steaks you cook.

Yep, there was a 1000 things that could have gone wrong in that crash.

Do you need to reserve a camp spot ?

Done Palo Duro Canyon State Park, be there or be square.....[emoji41]

Probably around 11am, determine route on Friday. Do some back road wandering

Palo Duro campout. We had a good time. We ran into rain and hail south west of Claude. Perfect for camping that night. We went south down 27 for a ways then worked our way east this morning. Not sure of Kevin's mileage but I had 691. Today was rather windy. It's all good.

@Texasrider58 aka Whispering Dave was a perfect traveling and camping companion this weekend. We rode about 800 miles in two days riding tank to tank (about 180 - 200 miles with no stops). We had heat, wind, cold, rain, and hail...which is a typical adventure ride!

Felt great to cruise across West Texas, never mind the two broken ribs!
