camping Friday night Oct. 1 at the grasslands. Saturday morning i will meet up with Travis and the TARA dirt ride. Then in the afternoon I plan to stop by the IMS show at Texas Motor Speedway. Should be a fun couple of days.

i like it a lot. Still don’t trust it so I carry my warbonnet BB and my underquilt. I won’t trust it until about 20 sleeps. So far I have about 8 sleeps.
I was hoping for rain last night so I could get a wet test. Didn’t rain a drop!

I think I will hold off until you "wet test" it. If you then give your stamp of approval I will probably order one. Might as well let you be the guinea pig before I spend my money.
About half way kidding on that, but I really know nothing about them other than what I have read. You have the experience using hammocks in a manner which I would be using one and that is a good thing. Keep us updated on your thoughts on it. I appreciate your input.

Keith and @Tim Scholz cam out last night. Tim slept on the ground, Keith forgot his spreader bars for his bridge hammock.
me being the good Boy Scout had my Warbonnet BB and let Keith use that while I slept in my Haven Tent Hammock.
Tim’s supper, Keith is not into camp food so he at the Horny Toad in Cranfills Gap before he came.
I of course ate like a king!

Glad to see Tim has recovered enough from his Covid ICU stay to camp out.
