Kyle Tx eats?

ourgroup passes thru Kyle on our way to bandera twice a year and am thinking that we may stop for lunch in the Kyle area. On a friday.
Anyone have a place there that they like to eat lunch out for maybe 15-20 people?

The Texas Pie Company has been used for past Pie Runs. It has sandwiches, burgers and other stuff.

A block away at the tracks is a decent BBQ place.

Railroad BBQ, if it is still there, is one of my favorite BBQ places in all of Texas.
That distinction makes it one of the best BBQ places in the World cause everyone knows you can't get good BBQ outside of Texas .

Railroad BBQ is definitely good. Especially their chopped beef.

Milt's BBQ is pretty good too and right down the road from Railroad. Very limited seating though.

I have been to both RR BBQ and Milts, I prefer Milt's any day. Always good. They just won an award from KVET for 1 of the top 5 BBQ places in Cen Tex.
Then go to the Texas Pie Co. for dessert.
