I guess I would have to figure out how that works to make them....learning new stuff is fun.
It is just a lip added to the spacer, thin enough to fit between the bearing and the seal.

I will try to do that for my spare wheels, could be fun.
Start with the DRZ, mine gets worked on frequently enough and I find the front wheel to be particularly annoying.

the little lip on the inside is what makes them captive, the stuff on the outside is...probably specific to the R1 in this case.
