Let there be light and let the good times roll...

That job taught me that customers are usually idiots rather than always right :lol2: I regularly had people threaten to sue me whenever I had to decline a credit card or refuse to accept a check. "Sir, I make minimum wage. How much do you think you are going to get out of me...? Customer service is just around the corner..." It wasn't unusual to have to summon security to escort customers out the door.

:lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Ha ha ha... welcome to the last 40 years of my life.

IF the strobing and 130 db horn doesn't get someone's attention, then they probably shouldn't be allowed out in public unsupervised... :eek2:

That's when the General Dynamics in-frame mounted dual Sidewinder missile option comes in handy. :trust:

Ace is the place to go for fasteners and small hardware

Or most anything else. I needed Ace-specific spray paints for a project, and there's none in SA. I called one in Katy where I was going the next day, and they said they had them all. I went there the next day, and had no less than three older guys helping me, including the one I talked to that pulled my list out of his pocket! Try getting THAT at a box store! I went to Home Dipwads last weekend needing help with an old plumbing part. I got a real attitude from a snarky girl that could not have been less interested in her job. Sadly, the True Value's are pretty much gone around here as well.

So I updated the original post with more pics, better descriptions, and also links to the various goodies. I added a bit at the end about the brake lever add-on as well.

BTW, I wonder why BMW add those lower extensions on the GS front fender. You normally see those on inverted forks with male stanchions that need protection. GS forks don't need them, as far as I can tell. :ponder:

Probably just to protect the pretty gold forks from rocks and such ;-)
