I noticed Volhand in Supercross is running a LHRB setup because of an injury. He's doing this without going the autoclutch route.

Interesting to me because of a knee issue and rear brake use is difficult.

Anyway, anyone have any insight in this? He states uses 1 finger on each.

Wouldn't mind getting his setup.

No, I think it is a version made by ASV but they all are fairly similiar brake and clutch on the same pertch with a lever for each

I've considered going that route many times. But then encounter situations out on the trails where I have to modulate the clutch and rear brake at the same time and those thoughts get squashed. I just can't see myself learning to modulate each lever independently with the same hand at the same time. But that's just me. I know many people love the setup. I also have never heard of anyone going back to a standard setup once they've made the change, so that says something as well.

Chris, one of my riding group even has that setup on his trials bike as well as his enduro bike. I tried it and it is not a instant you jump on it feels natural deal as I spent so much time concentrating on using it that I was all over the place

Yep, no doubt there's quite the learning curve.

I've known people that run the setup on their streets bikes. The only benefit I could seen for having it on my street bike is better rear brake control for wheelies. Though I seem to be aging out of those kind of street shenanigans....finally (sadly?). lol
