Yes they have been running promotions on other models for a while. I know, that's not a good sign.
 
My concern is if they are knocking $6,250 off the MSRP, what the heck is the MSRP on this mini bike?
 
Wow ... those both are a long way away from what I expected from Livewire.... Guess it's good they're thinking a little further outside the box... but man that scooter is ugly
 
The following video is in German but can be translated to English. No specs given other than the HP. The video gives a good idea of what the Honcho looks like. I think it looks great. The removable batteries make the bike a winner and I hope Livewire sells a bunch. Yes I am interested.

And, it looks like you could do some trail riding with it, at least to terrorize the middle-aged fat ladies on your local green-belt walking path. 🙂


I'm amused and intrigued by this whole new e-bike phenomena.

Lufkin where I live is full of Poor People. Cheap "e-motorcycles" are completely eliminating our decades-long Homeless Transportation problem. I see more of them every day.

Yesterday I went to Harbor Freight on my R1200R. In the parking lot a Crack-Head rolled up to me on his cheap Amazon e-bike, like this one...

He was excited about how we are both Biker Bros.

We were indeed both Two-Wheeled Texans, so I engaged him in some friendly "bike talk" before denying him funding.
 
I went and looked at Livewire bikes yesterday. No Honcho yet. They are currently being assembled in Taiwan by Kymco.

The salesguy told me that other than the Honcho, Livewire has not made bikes this year. The Alpinista was made only in 2025 and the Mulholland was made only in 2024. There are still some (few) leftover bikes at this point. I asked about battery degredation and was told that the 5 year warranty starts when one purchases the bike. That's not a straight answer though. But it should be possible to go through settings and check the status of the battery.

It will be interesting to see how many Honchos are made and how many dealers will (want to) get them.

The Del Mar was the only model in stock.
 
Looks like the Honcho exists!

So far, I've only seen the off road version. Not sure if that's what's only available or what dealers ordered.

No idea about OTD price either. From the looks of it, they come fully assembled or just about.
