I bought this product from Amazon to lube the tranny and final drive splines on my 1200 GS. I was a bit surpised to see an expiry date on the can. For those of you who work with molybdenum disulfide lubricants a lot, does this lube really expire? This is all new to me.

I would expect the expiration date is more for critical aircraft/aerospace applications that have life/shelf limitations on things like lubes, non-metallics, etc.
I don't think moly goes so it is probably more about the carrier.
