March Pie Run (Southeastern Style)

I am totally confused. Somebody please post the details for each run.

The following quote is from the first post in this thread, which is titled "March Pie Run (Southeastern Style)".
Simply Country

Saturday - March 27, 2021 @ 11:00 am.

Please respond if you plan to attend so I can give them a "heads up" about how many plan to be there.

It was suggested we visit the bustling metropolis of Moss Hill, Texas this month and Simply Country restaurant. I called them and they said it wouldn't be a problem, but to call back a couple days ahead to verify how many will be there.

Now this next quote is from the first post the a thread titled "March Pie Run - Sam's In Fairfield, 3/27".
Sam' Restaurant in Fairfield for the March Pie Run. 11am meet time. I called Sam's and they're up to 100% capacity per Gov. Abbot's decision.

I'd volunteered to set the March run using Scrumbosious in Forney. But Sam's is a favorite, a smaller town, and less traffic hassle then the Scrumbosious place. BTW, there's also a PR being held in Moss Hill at the Simply Country Cafe. This was organized for riders in that area to have chance to make a PR.

List yourself and any plus ones for the attendance number for Sam's.

I responded to your PM. This run is to Simply Country in Moss Hill. A group from the Clear Lake area is meeting at the Buc-ee's on I-10 in Baytown @ 9:30 / KSU @ 10:00. This is the one I`m going on as well as Rob and several others. We are doing a run to Simply Country to give those that would prefer a closer location an opportunity to make a pie run.

The original run is to Sam's in Fairfield off of I-45 and is a completely different ride. It's up to you which one you"d prefer to do.

I didn't mean to cause a problem Randy, I was just goofin around.
Shoot, you must not know Randy! He is fast enough to be in both places at once, and boy, does he love him some pie! šŸ˜

Good ride, good company, and good pie! [emoji3050]

Definitely good pie, think I got in trouble with the Missus for not bringing some back. Had fun on the ride, looking forward to the next one.

Thanks Chad for leading and to everyone who showed up. Good to see Doug (DLDR) that I havenā€™t seen since an East Texas ride years ago and to finally meet Roger (Rsquared).

Totally agree, Randy! Looking for suggestions for next month.

I'll have to say that the first "Pie Run (Southeastern Style)" was a great success. The company was great, and I echo Jay in saying it was good to see Doug and Roger again; it's been awhile. Food was excellent too! Anna and I split a "small" country fried steak (wanted to leave room for pie!), and it was delicious. Then came the pies! Wow, they had a large selection, and they were all good.

Thanks to Jay for organizing this, and to Chad for leading us. Weather was perfect, and the roads through East Texas are always fun. Already looking forward to the next one!

Good meeting everyone. That was one of the best chicken-fried steaks I've had in a long time.

Good to join y'all for lunch and pie. Great place!

Hopefully next time we will be going the same direction and ride together.

Looks like a great "pieout". Sorry I forgot to post up that we couldn't make it. Wore my rear tire out in Kerrville chasing a bud around some sweet twisties last weekend.

Did you buy a GS?

No, that was DLDRā€™s. He had parked in a different area than everyone else. The picture did turn out really good.
