I ended up ordering one, haven't tried it out yet.Second the motion. I have the Static V and it rolls/folds up small so perfect for those bike camping trips.

Sigh, eventually. Life has been throwing punches lately and I haven't had time. I didn't even get out to see the Bluebonnets this year. But yes, I'm still making preparations to one day get out to camp on the bike.Sounds like your going camping? It rolls up to about the size of a soda can.

No real plans at this point, got a big trip coming up for one of the FJR Rallies this fall, but would like to add and test gear before then, but it's been hard to get away lately.Don't feel like the lone ranger. Where were you thinking of camping when you do get to go?
I am going get up that way again someday. I lived near the Red river when I was a kiddo. Up till about 1977. Been forever since I have been camping up that way.Think I'm going camping next week for two nights at Chickasaw. We'll trailer there though. Can't stand going through Dallas and then Denton on my 350. No problems after that. LOTS of options when you trailer to ride. Do I take the folding camp chair or the living room LAZY BOY????
It has been a great source of ideas. Thank you Tim.I started this thread nearly 7 years ago. The subjects have varied over the years, but glad to see it's still alive & ticking. Kinda like me.

Have you already moved to Colorado, Tim?Drew, it's been fun keeping up with it, even though I haven't been able to bike camp in 3 years or so. You know that if you want to ride up to Centennial some time, I'll have a spare bedroom. We're overdue for another trip.
