My bike is owned through my Montana LLC... along with all my vehicles, so I'm not required to re-title or re-register when I get a new DL in another state as they are not 'personal' vehicles.
I'm in contact with MT DOJ MVD to see if I can update my registration address to match my Texas address.
I'll bring what I've got the the border Saturday and hope for the best.

Thank you for the input guys.

I hope it works. Let us know.

FYI to anyone wondering about TVIPs in Mexico for a future ride... They ask for your passport, not your drivers license. They compare the Name on passport to Name on title/registration. As long as these two match, it does not matter what state your vehicle is registered in vs what state your drivers license is from. But your name must match EXACTLY. I got through with my TX license and MT plates no problem!
