My pictures of Moki Dugway don't look like that.

Yeah, that's lookin' a lot like Shafer Canyon in Utah to me.
Don't ever bet the farm on something you see on Pinterest.

I will have my own pics up in about 4 days...

We have a group of 5

Looking forward to your pictures, but if you want to duplicate the picture you posted, you'll have to go to the north entry to Canyonlands NP which is 160 miles up Highway 191. Moki and Muley are beautiful in their own right. Take a wide angle lens so you can get Moki and the Mexican Hat formation in 1 picture. If you are going on street bikes, the rough stuff on Muley Point is doable. My friend did it on a 25 year old VFR. When it starts to get rough, it's less than a mile to the end.

Thanks, if I had a wide angle lens I wouldn’t know what to do with it LOL

All the bikes are Africa Twins and Super Teneres and a GSA. So we will see if the BMW can make it [emoji23]

Humm.. I too thought the photos looked different than I remembered Mogi. More like shafer. But its all in the lens I guess. Mogi never got me all that excited. Full white rum day run is more interesting :-) Its been 7 years now for the white rim , so you can probably drive a tesla across it now, due to the NPS watering it down annually with graders. the most common bike on the Mogi is a HD.

We knocked out 750 miles yesterday. Today we will be tourists with 136 miles to go.... found a great campsite called Hilton in Gallup.

750?! Them some sore butts.
Not for the Goldwing guy....

And likely not for Kevin either...he's done 1000+ countless times. I assume he has that AT set up for distance at this point.

Getting groceries at Kayanta, met back up with Luis and Duke

Heading to Moki

I am more comfortable on the twin during long distances than I ever was on my goldwings.
