SAN ANTONIO: Monthly Ride-to-Meat

turns out, I may not be able to ride on the 21st. I am having cataract surgery on my left eye on the 17th.

Good luck with the surgery. The 21st is tight for me so about changing the date since no else has committed to coming? Note: The 28th is the Pecan Grove bike burger gathering.

That sounds like good ride! I'll pencil that in. Thanks!

There's a Subway on the NW corner of I-35 and FM 3009. If you like, we can meet there for the ride to Pecan Grove.

Will be in turn 15 again!

Bonus ride on Monday, 30 March. Lunch at Henry's Restaurant in Lockhart.

Update. I have a conflict with Saturday at Pecan Grove so will not attend. Sorry. However, I will be at Henry's on Monday March 30th at 11:30am.

Interesting how weekdays are easier to schedule than weekends; the life of a pensioner...

That's a bummer about Saturday.

If you would like to ride with a few others to Henry's, we will have KSU at 9AM at the Quick Trip on FM 1120 1102 & FM 306 in NB.

Around 235 miles today, some of it on low speed back roads. Headwinds all morning; wind dropped off a bit in the afternoon.
The place did not have a motorcycle show as they did last time I was there. It's an old Sinclair gas station. I had a half pound Dino bacon cheese burger. It was really good.

The other day, when I said I was not going to post rides here any more, what I meant to say is that I am not going to coordinate group rides here anymore. I will post rides I intend to take and anyone is welcome to join in as they want and are able.

I am planning on a ride to Mom's Kitchen, south of San Antonio, on 18 April. KSU at 10AM at Big Bear Hardware on the south side of La Vernia. Some very fun roads to and from.
