MotoAmerica Test @ COTA - 03/23/2016

I finally had a chance to work through my MotoAmerica test pictures from COTA last week. I took a ton of pictures and came away with what I consider 130 keepers. It was a pleasure to meet up with Scott (M38A1) and chat for a bit. All shots were taken with my Nikon D810 and 200-500mm f/5.6. I used my TC-14II for a while, 700mm full reach, but I'm not too happy with the quality on those. Here are some of my favorites.

While I was taking pictures from the bridge, Josh Hayes rode his Zuma over to the bridge to watch some of the 600cc bikes.

Nice pics. There's a bunch of good ones, but I really liked the one of the C-130. Somehow I missed seeing it and it's one that I've almost certainly worked on.

I was actually depressed when I got home and downloaded the pics. I realize now it takes a bunch of panning shots to end up with a few good ones. If I shot 4 or 5 in a sequence, maybe 1 would be in focus. It was a great learning experience for me.
