Motorcycle "Right to Repair" is Dead

This company claims to be targeting the D.I.Y. Repair market with an EV truck.

It could be cheap enough for me to buy as a secondary run-about. 90% of my "truck driving" is really just back-and-forth to Lowe's and running to the four houses I maintain to fix stuff.

I can use my ICE Highlander for long trips. I can borrow my Son-in-Law's 1-ton dually Diesel if I need to move anything big.

Could work for my unique situation. Don't like that it's from Monopoly Capitalist Jeff Bezos.

Production is scheduled to begin in late 2026 at a repurposed facility in Indiana. Slate Auto plans to sell the vehicle through a direct-to-consumer model supported by a network of independent service partners rather than traditional dealerships.

Why can't the EV folks come up with a front end that doesn't look like a Guppy?
