Need some welding done on my trailer

I'm making some modifications to my utility trailer that requires some welding. I'm not a welder but would think even a stick welder would work. Surely a wire feed, plasma might be getting a little fancy? I could barley qualify as gob welder so my knowledge it pretty limited.

i bet a person could get one of those cheepies and a grinder etc and do some good from china harbor. if your talking suspension repair stuff, thats different. good ground and prep work are key to making it stick . do some you tubes

but i wouldn't want to rob Ken of some fun.
