As suggested, here's some places I've been. I like to ride to see places that pertain to Texas and it's history. I've read a lot about Sam Houston and in the process, mad a ride to visited each of his immediate family members grave. And of course learn a little bit about each of them. Standing at their grave seems to make it real and your also standing where their story ends. I've been to see the Texas battleship and the San Jacinto Monument. I was disappointed that the top lookout deck was closed until I found a maintenance gut to chat with and he took me below instead. I got to see his copy of the original plans that he needs in his day to day operations. And feet print in the cement base from the workers that built it. I've been to several Bonnie and Clyde sites. I left bullets on Clydes grave and a beer on Bonnies. I've got an Iris plant on m porch I call Clyde, that came fro his grave. I've been to the only international border marked inside another international border, which is the only one known to be left that says RT for Republic of Texas on one side, and US on the other. I needed my seat redone, so I slipped the old codger and extra 20 and he stitched a cool state of Texas into it for me. Last weekend I had a shrimp dinner sitting across from where the Battleship is dry docked for repair and that as cool and then rode over to go thru the submarine and ship at Sea Wolfe Park. One the way back fro there, I detoured to see the site of Vinces bridge. It was a bridge that Sam Houston ordered burned to revent more troops and supplies being brought into Santa Anna that led to his defeat.

If anyone wants to tag along on a ride about Texas, let ne know. We'll figure out the next place and roll.

Welcome. Those are some nice photos of very cool places. I grew up hearing relatives who lived in McDade, Texas talk of seeing Bonnie and Clyde. Bonnie's epitaph has to be one of the sweetest I have ever seen.
