Put a lot of miles on two wheels in that exact area , I camped in Cabristo canyon about a mile from the lake and covered a lot of ground up there . Last time was 2008 and ATVs had done a lot of damage to the whole area , sure hope they have enforcement out there and fine them severely when they cut a trail around the gates .
