Anyone up for burgers at Jaspers in Bluff Dale? I heard from several different TWT members that this is the place for home style burgers up that way. Weather is looking good for Sunday at least no rain in the forecast for that day.:sun:

Everyone is welcome to join in. If the weather turns please drive up and join in. Hope that we get a big crowd and get some good visit time in. Come join on in for the food and friendship. Be great to see all you regulars as well as some new folks.:rider:

Sign up here on this thread if you are attending so I can give them a head count. Thank you. Hope to see you Sunday.:eat:

I am in, on a very loud DR-Z, she needs some love. So, wear ear plugs and I will try to be "careful" in my riding. Hopefully there are still a few good wheelies and stoppies left in her.

Awesome, sounds like a plan. Let me see how's the weather outlook for Sunday this weekend and I'll let you know.

Girlfriend is busy the weekend so I might as well make the trip. Will see!

Re: October meet @ greet @ eat

Bakers xsing was flooded over last Sunday so I’m betting it’s blocked off now but we could check it out or we could meander down to Edwards to see how far we’d get on that one. :ponder:
Loftin should be fine Im sure...
I bet Edwards/1008 & 1007 will be open...
That low water crossing on 1004 may be ok....or at least...with the prev dry spell...it wont have any slicky stuff.
& all the county roads jus south of 67 should be fine too....2012 ..2011..2010..2009..2008..2015..mabe even the slicky on 2013

We might hit some of em on the way up...
Or...we may take the 182 Gap 219 1602 Hico 2481 approach

Edwards low bridge crossing was loaded with debree on each side last Sunday-had to stop to help a couple turtles go around it- so I’m not sure what that’ll be like on Sunday.

Leading us on one, Rod?

Sadly, Mitch is younger than me, I am just prettier, so I can see how you made the error, of course Ron may be the youngest. But, he is, after all, Ron. We didn't ride over there. If you survive the brake checking the twisty dirty parts are pretty good. Even though I will be on my DR-Z434SM, I may skip all the water hazard rides. I have had enough of those on the FZ1 lately. Mitch suggested i take the Beta Rev 3 270. Maybe after the ride we should drop over to Pee Paws Scooter Shop and see if anyone can actually ride the silly thing. Hee Hee.

Not sure if the munchkins will still be here Sunday or not.
And Big Reds new shoes won't be in until next week.

But I'm ready for a little :rider: :eat: :rider:

Trying to talk my pirate buddy into it as well.
Once a pirate realizes that they can have a bike that handles well, has a high performance engine, good brakes, is actually ergonomic & comfortable, doesn’t rattle your teeth out, can actually go somewhere off pavement, less maintenance, doesn’t require a certain “lifestyle” & costs about 1/4 of a rolling couch HD; it’s easy to convert them.

I should open up a rehab place for pirates, kinda like that Passages Malibu for burned out pill heads that is advertised on TV.

Sun is out up here, going to be a +1 tomorrow. You should be proud. I am thinking of riding the Yammie again. The DR-Z is fun, depends on Mitch I'd say.

Plannin ta leave the Stripes by my place....
Hwy 6 & FM185 by 9am & take a fairly direct but nice pavement route thru the Gap to Hico ..then up 2481 to Bluff Dale
Plenty of time after lunch for some skinny pavement....
