Odd sounds.

Got a Kawasaki ZRX1100 (99 model)

She's making some odd sounds around/under the gas tank. Not sure if it's indegestion, gas tank expanding/contracting, or electrical in nature. Really only makes the sounds as it's colling off. I thought it might be a sensor of some sort.

More description: The bike is making a clicking sound, and sometimes a high pitched whine (not loud, just kinda quite and high pitched.)

Any help would be appreciated.

Next time you hear the sounds open up the gas tank and see if they stop. Some bikes will whistle as the gas tank cools and sucks air in. I always said that my Concours was singing to me as it made its noises.

All Kawasakis have a tank vent that whistles as the temp rises or falls. My KLR, ZRX and Concours all did it.
