Yeah, I just picked up a BMW with ABS, so Ole Kowalski has got to go.
Up for sale is my lowered 2008 Kawasaki Versys 650 Adventure bike with 17,XXX miles. This is one sweet bike. I bought it last year anticipating a Dual Sport cross country ride. In the past year, the following has been done by a retired motorcycle mechanic:

Valves set, throttle bodies balanced
Polaris series regulator installed
ThermoBob installed
Yoshimura exhaust
Crash bars added with highway pegs
STS self-canceling turn signals
STS brake light modulator
Lowered to 31" seat height,
Adcock Touring seat (All day comfortable)
MRA touring windshield
Stainless steel brake lines
Lowered foot pegs
All fluids replaced
New clutch cable and gas line
Shinko 705 tires

In other words, This bike is in like new condition, with all the maintenance done on a basically "Bulletproof" engine and ready to do some serious riding.
The price is $3,700 cash and carry. The title is clean and ready to be signed over. Test rides with cash in hand and a Motorcycle endorsement on your license.

If you are not familiar with the Versys, here are some awards:
2008 Motorcycle of the Year Award by Motorcyclist Magazine.
2008 Best in Class "Allrounder class" award by Motor Cycle News.

Yeah, it's a premium price for a premium bike, but mention that you saw it on TWT and the price is $3500.

Premium price? 17000 miles doesn't seem like a lot of miles, bout right, probably be some wiggling in there so priced right.

Glws. I had to sell my 2011 versys with sw motech goodies, brand spankin new tires and 7400 miles on the clock for 3650. It was clean as a whistle. Had some low baller try and offer me 2900 and I told him to go buy a $2900 bike. Nobody appreciates the versys
