Fun little round....

M38A1:
Yeah, I can critique my own entry. :-) Woodbutcher and I were out last week day-drinking and I was trying to get the beer glass with the entire fermenter in the background but the perspectives were weird so I just snapped this one. I'd have liked more beer in the glass (don't we all?), and the full fermenter visible.

Tracker:
Man, every time I see a Ten Sleep beer mug I smile as the shots bring back wonderful memories of one of my trips and sipping that golden nectar off his back porch with the big hill/mountains in the background. I like the color balance and saturation levels, head and condensation. I'd have liked to see the glass turned slightly to provide a full frontal of the logo to be more symmetrical.

GravelGuy:
Looks like a grand iced tea with lime? Interesting choice of a location for placement with a contrasting dark against the sunlight. The sunlight angle was kind of cool to catch the top rim as well as backlight the beverage. The lime is a bonus placement artifact. That's a tough shot to control with a light beverage subject and the sun behind it as it's almost a bit too hot backlit. Great condensation as well.

This one is tough....

Gary/Tracker gets mad props for putting the big smile on my face. :sun:

But I have to go with Mark/GravelGuy for the creativity of being backlit and still making it look refreshing. Congrats Mark. You're up for #225

Congrats, the iced tea had a lot of nuanced features and was a very nice shot.
My fav glass. Symmetry is always a debate for me - looking staged vs not. Some shots beg for it. I thought otherwise, but hey, point taken, I'll give it a little more priority next time.
What drives me crazy is non-level horizons.

By nature, I'm a 'boxes and lines' kind of brain. That's why creativity is hard for me to both do and evaluate. It's a defect. :-)

The horizon thing is so easy to spot and fix too. Liquids are easy as the surface is always horizontal. :-)

Thanks Tracker and M38A1 for the kind words and the nod!
We make our tea in one gallon glass pickle jars up here, and it’s wonderful!
1/2 a lime to each gallon is how the family likes it.
I actually took this photo three times, and the one with the rim glint won. Sometimes a fella gets lucky! 🙏🏻
