Don't get too close to the buffalo 🦬.
I got in some stopped traffic jams in Yellowstone with knuckleheads out of their cars taking pictures of animals. I felt pretty safe in a car. What if one came at a rider on a motorcycle with the kickstand down. I guess dual sport would help in that scenario.

I've been stuck in a buffalo herd twice on a motorcycle, once with my wife on back and once with my friend Maurice. If I had been a real strong idiot, I could have reached out and touched one. I consider myself to be on the weak side of Idiocracy.
 
I rode about 70 miles today. I was going to hike to Methuselah ( the tree ) today, but when I stopped for this picture I felt tired. I got a motel with a guest laundry, fell asleep while my clothes were drying and slept for more than three hours. I'll see the oldest trees alive tomorrow.

You know what is funny is that I just watched TylerADV's video of him encountering the same crossing. I wonder how many more it got that day?

I will critique his entry on that first xing. Carrying too much speed and entered on a curving line. Aimed for the center which is slicker than the tire tracks.

That's the one! I only saw the wipeout clip though. This full video is much more telling.

I asked him on the forum he posted the clip on and he said it was by Waco. Didn't specify beyond that. But terrain and crossings look very similar to those encountered around Junction which was why I asked.

Yep. And he continued taking the bad lines the rest of the way through. Guess some people don't learn.
 
Corners into water crossings can be trouble. I think this one almost got me the first time:

In Nevada today. I wanted to stay in California a few more days, but a little tip over, as I was coming to a stop on a gravel road, broke my front brake lever. The closest CFMOTO dealer is in Vegas, but no freeways for me. I'll try to find one in Utah. My backup plan is being shipped to my brother's house in Taos.

I looked up the small amount of history about Lillian Skeen. She was an attractive woman. If it's true newspaper history, says she took her life when her boyfriend was convicted of a crime.

That seems reasonable and who knows how long those plates have been on the crosses. LOTS of graves had them. The boyfriend doesn't explain "weary of her ways," but who knows when that tag was stamped. When I get to a computer, I'll add pictures from my camera.

Yet another month that flew by fast. Today it was already time again for 3SB and the monthly AMCA gathering.

I met @TossingLead at his house for the ride to 3SB. @Mike B and @focus frenzy were in there when we arrived.

There was a crowd of 16 today including some friends I haven't seen in a long time.

At 9:40 @Mike B and I headed to Anna. We arrived in Anna right on time this month. We had a good fun crowd here as well. We thought there wouldn't be many bikes but we were pleasantly surprised.

Before heading out we checked out another one of Dalton's beautiful old custom Honda's. We followed him on a fun small loop of twisty roads before heading West towards home.

Its hard to believe he builds these bikes in a small garage at his house doing amazing rattle can paint jobs.

In the bike picture do you know who rides the second blue/silver NC750X? I would like to ask about the auxiliary lights and tall windshield. I will DM him or her. I want to add both to my NC75OX.
