G/F's brother and family needs prayers.

Her brother Brent, went into the hospital approx 2 weeks ago, was there for a couple days and release. Apparently he'd gone in due to liver function issues.

This week, he was entered back into the hospital...apparently with bleeding tween the skull & brain. It was then signs of cirrosis(sp?) & transfusions.
Our latest update is he's in liver failure, and apparently a reaction to the transfusion.

His wife has been on disability due to a car accident in her past that has slowly been taking its toll.
Brent and Marsha lost their father in Dec of this year, just after Christmas.
Brent and his family moved to Conway Jan of this year, in order to keep a job with this company that wouldn't require him to travel around the states.

...and now they've been hits with this...

Tough hand they've been dealt. :zen:

Definitely will pray for their situation.

...btw thanks folx.

Been a ride.. We left early morning the day after I posted, went straight to the hospital to find that his clotting function had improved and they canceled the surgery. He was moved out of ICU the next day. We left Arkansas monday, after stopping by to visit him again.

Apparently while on our way home he developed variceal bleeding. They moved him back into ICU, banded the bleed...stayed a day or two then moved back out of ICU. Was informed that he was released today to recover @ home.

Lord's will be done; hopefully he continues to improve! :sun:
