All,

Prayers for Houston to recover from hurricane Harvey. We are grateful: all safe and so far no house flooding.

Same here! Just north of Jersey Village. Only got a little over 20" of rain over the whole period! Saw the sun this evening. God Bless and help those in need!!

The storm claimed another victim this afternoon. A dear friend of the family that grew up with my sons was eletrocuted by a downed power wire while walking back home. This after all the rain had stopped, and the storm had finally moved away. Such a profound, senseless and unnessecary loss. Please be careful out there people, danger still lurks! Dont let this storm claim another person.

Good point Donny. Stay WELL clear of downed lines. They CAN charge the ground and it CAN be fatal even if you never touch the line. So observe from a distance...

Very sorry to hear about your son's friend.

PS, tell Lynn to check her PMs ;-)

It is dangerous. Prayers made for safe passage. Prayers too for continued support during the long healing process.
