Took a few years off from riding when I sold my 1999 Triumph Speed Triple back in 2010. Been itching to get back on a Triumph while riding my 1979 Yamaha XS1100 Special Edition the past couple of years. Recently picked up a 2006 Speed Triple which is the sexiest bike ever made IMHO.

Forgot about this forum but glad to be back as a member. I’m in the Fort Worth area and usually out riding on the weekends with my father in law. Hopefully we can join a few group rides or meet and greets in the near future.

HI Tom. The Triumph is cool alright but I really like the Yamaha. Nice!

I am in Fort Worth as well. Perhaps we'll get connected.
 
My father in law is a big fan of the XS1100 bikes and has owned a few. He gifted this one to me a couple of years ago when I got back into riding. He had the tank and side panels hydro dipped. It still runs great!
