Took the Cj5 this year. I've been going for years but due to my large reduction in riding I decided to take the CJ on my longest trip in it so far totaling around 700 miles over the weekend. I ran a lot of forest service roads and hit some more challenging trails in the process. Nothing too serious but it helped me gain confidence in the reliability of the 5 and what I can get away with in it.

In the carhole ready to roll out that morning. The extension cord going into it from the passenger side is to power my 12v refrigerator until departure.

I managed to find a trail that hadn't been in use for some time it seems. I called it "spider alley". It took me forever to get though it because every 1/4 or 1/2 mile I'd have to stop and brush dozens of spiders off the Jeep. On the upside the trail had a few technical sections that were spider free and fun.

I told'em next year I'm bringing the 2A.

I had some videos but can't get them to embed from FB.

If you have a group that can off-road ride good and like a little bit of a challenge head up to the tower on D4675 from Muse.

Looks like they have 'refurbished', No it has not been.

I've been on that trail in my XJ. Last time about 2 or 2.5 years ago. Was heavily overgrown and may possibly be private now. My buddy in his newish pickup was none to happy with me on that one but nearly every semi challenging trail in that area is going to be tight.

La Flore 6023 was more than I wanted to continue on...
Yes, that gets really sketchy on the east end as you cross Big Cedar Creek. One of the roughest roads I've ridden on my Africa Twin. Would be much more fun on a small bike.

Excellent. Thank you Sir!
If that is the one on the K-Trail, I've actually been there. Looks like they have 'refurbished' it since I've been there, if you can believe that.
Its is the one on the K Trail.

Home and will be unpacking for daaaayyysss...

Thank you, everyone, for being there and doing so much to help! Not an official total but Cynthia reports over $5000 has been added to CASA's funds thanks to YOUR generosity and participation! Thank you all so very much. Such small words but really from the bottom of our hearts!

If you want to have photos or videos posted on the RMR site, please email them or links to them to rmr4casa@gmail.com and I'll get them up in space!

Did I say thank you? I mean it!!!
