Re: Pie Run V: Pie Heaven in Hico

Well I just got home from a great ride. There was a pretty good turn out and it was nice getting to meet some new people. Looking foward to doing this again.

Re: Pie Run V: Pie Heaven in Hico

As always I had a great time riding, visiting, meeting new riders, and great pie. Thanks for organizing these functions. I have posted my pictures. I didn't take notes so they are without captions. I hope everyone had a safe ride home.
Rick

Oh what a cool bike!

Owner of this Harley said he bought it in a box. Put all the pieces together (part of the box had been under water so some of the bike was damaged) and ready to ride.

Great pics Rick! I'm going to download some later. It was a blast meeting everybody, especially Mr. Sock-monkey!

Re: Pie Run V: Pie Heaven in Hico

Sorry I didn't make this one. Weather looks great. I do have a question. Are all of you going to claim credit for this pie run? It didn't rain! I thought pie runs always had rain?

My lawn sprinkler system turned on erroneously while I was gone on the Pie Run... Does that count? :trust:

Only if you road thru it as you left! :trust:

Re: Pie Run V: Pie Heaven in Hico

Kick "A" meeting everyone! What rocks about this group is that no one seems to really care about your political persuasion, or WHAT you ride... just as long as you RIDE. That's cool!

Skip

Rolled out of the garage at an all-too-early 6:33 AM here in west Houston, and rolled back into the garage at 7:56 PM as the sun was starting to set. Was an absolutely beautiful day, got to meet and mingle with plenty of 'folk from all over the place, and finished off the day with 536 miles. :rider:

I didn't take any pictures, but lots of you did, so post them up here and share your day's highlights with the rest of us!

I am having the time of my life, and I am glad to be able to share it with a great bunch of people...

The pie was good but the ride was better...

That's because he was taking notes from the moment he got off his bike until he left. When the Houston contingency got there, he had already filled one side of the paper. I think by the end he was scribbling in the margins.... :lol2:

So perhaps a username change is appropriate... "Scribe"

Clicked on another banner photo that brought me here. I looked a tad bit younger and rode lots faster bikes 20 years ago. :lol2:
