My day started at 6, just after I left our house to make it to the meeting place. I got to see Sherob only to find out he couldn't go after all. :-(

Having ridden with Anaconda before, I knew she was pretty punctual it was pretty funny to see Yogi scramble :eek2: to get ready.. that part was fun :rofl: so you know the day, as a whole, was perfection.:rider: :eat: :sun: :lol2:

All that is left to do is show the pictures. (I know that loose lips sink ships and what happens on the ride, stays on the ride :angel:) I can say that I learned some new gestures and heard a new word, which I can't seem find on google:ponder:

I'm so jealous of allt he fun you had! Graeme's a lucky guy to be spending all day with the day-glo ladies. I'll need to hear the gossip offline, of course. :cool2:
 
Does anyone know if Pat's BBQ is still around? Is there an address or does anyone have the GPS coordinates saved?

Planning on a run to Tyler this weekend and I'm always down for some good BBQ if I can find the place...

Well... that is the location and I don't think there is much of an address.:giveup: I can vouch for it being there - open from 11 till they run out of meat... :rofl:

On the other hand... here's another google map that actually shows the place.

The address in the post above is correct. However when I put it in my Garmin, it wasn't a 100% accurate (on the GPS). Pat's its about 10 ft west from the CR-26 and CR-21 intersection, while Garmin would show it just before the CR-26 and CR-28 intersection. I still had the tracks from that ride, the coordinates:

N 32 21.317 W95 06.771

Ah, why yes they are. Thanks for noticing :lol2:

They're the OEM Suzuki setup (re-badged Givi V35), and so far I'm liking them a lot. I'm not a pro at the side loading thing yet, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

It's pretty sad when I notice new farkles on other people's bikes. :oops:

The V35s look great on so many different bikes. Those are the ones I would have gotten too. :trust: :lol2:

I saw you at the pie run in Conroe and should have said hi. :doh: Maybe next time...
 
Well, here's a bump for you folks around Tyler....

I've had plans to meet some friends here for lunch next Saturday for a month, but can anyone confirm that the place is still in business? Anyone that wants to tag along and join is more than welcome!
