Any wagers on whether or not it’s open tomorrow? We got some decent rain over in Cypress and the maps made it look like Conroe got quite a bit as well.

Hoping to get some laps in tomorrow morning.

Odds are the Trails will be closed for a while...Almost 6 inches of rain here (5 minutes from 208 Trailhead) and definitely not a drying climate.
936-446-6205 Call before you haul number I have. Not sure it still works.
936-446-6205 Still works
888-361-6908 as well Option 2 on both numbers gives you trail Status.

Man, 6" of rain blows... I had hoped the weekend would have been light to get some time in this week....

I only want to ride the trails. Hope to go tomorrow .
I've riden there 7 or 8 years ago. Can't remember much.
I think I rode the west side. It was west of the park ranger station. Figure I'll go to the same place.

I’ll be rolling out to ride today. Probably be there at noon.

Sorry I missed you. I went west. Did string trail and some other one that started there.

It's been a couple years since I've been out there, but last time I was there, they had some highway quality metal signs at the intersections.

Dirt looked perfect. Also looks like a guy could get lost out there if the intersections aren't marked well.
All the different trail intersections have large legible maps that you can follow. That being said I also use
an APP called Ramblr that tracks my progress and I can take photos along the way to help me analyze
my time/distance to co-relate the distances on the aforementioned maps.
Going out on these trails can be daunting and it's always safer with a form of communication.

Maps attached....
