Don't understand? Plate is barely visible, plus not my bike just one I saw at the trailhead showing how muddy.
OK. Thought maybe it was someone you know. Plate on a non street legal two stroke is not a regular sighting these days. I like it. :thumb:

Gotcha, several of my riding buddies have them. Buy a bike from Cycle Shack or Big Country Motorsports, they have it done when you pick it up. No problems yet.

Another "goal" photo! Maine.

Both these "goals" pics make my blood BOIL when I think of great trails we had in the Angelina. The most dominant reason/excuse used to ban OHV use was pollution of the creeks/watershed area etc when we rode thru. And then/now see what happens when the horsey riders do the same. Disgusting, absolute abuse of corrupt power wielded by a Jimmy Carter appointed, horsey riding woman judge in Lufkin. :angryfire :angryfire

The 250 2T Sherco in the picture is plated and my friends YZ250 2T is, just a couple of examples of folks I ride with.

Decades ago when I raced cyclo-cross, I learned about spraying Pam cooking spray on the tires. Worked on the fatter MTB tires and also works on bigger dirt bikes. Apply the night before and let it it sit all night. A spraying on "the day of" before you start and you'll shed mud better.

hmmm, have to try! If I ride mud again, won't be on purpose, lol.

Huh - good idea

We used Pam as a release agent for Holley metering block gaskets. Also made it easier to get the rubber off 1/4 panels on drag

After all that rain, forest is 50/50 ride able, lol. Eastside is nasty, didn't try KP area but imagine some of it is still wet. String and the Balloon's pretty awesome!

Went to the west side this past weekend and was pretty muddy. Ended up running the gravel roads around there instead

I rode String and both Balloon loops Monday, quite nice. If you were south of 208 trailhead, probably wasn't nice.

I should have gone riding today instead of to the in-laws, how can someone screw up cabbage? Probably missed the best day we will have for a couple weeks.

Reminds me of an old joke that I'll probably get wrong, "England only has 3 vegetables, 2 of which are cabbage"...

Couldn’t agree with you more! Had some of the best times trail riding there in the late 80s.
I had heard the closure was from the horse’s rear of a judge but didn’t know their justification was pollution. I guess horse urine and droppings aren’t considered pollution; I sure some Sierra Club members would disagree.

Give "them" half a chance and the Sam will follow the the same path.

By "pollution" they meant the stirring up of sediment by our tires that then flowed downstream and somehow harmed the organisms/fish that lived in the creek. At a meeting we had with them one actually said-- out loud for all to hear-- that the dirt on out tires when we entered the creek would come off and damage the ecology. Think about that for a little bit,,,,a little more. But of course, there would be no issue with dirt on a horses hoof doing the same. At another meeting one stated that we were in danger of harming "rare and ancient" soil that existed in some areas. Still thinking? We finally realized we had no chance with LIARS/IDIOTS in positions of power.
