Great shots! What a good weekend of riding. Our Belton group covered about 300 miles. Hope I got some good images to share but I'm tired, must sleep! This was on the way down on Saturday morning. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mn5pOJDDB4"]Rumley, Texas 1 28 12 - YouTube[/ame]

Sander, thanks for organizing the ride, for leading the ride on Saturday and building the routes, which worked very well on the Sunday ride back.

Only took one picture of any consequence at our first fuel stop on Saturday, but have plenty of pictures locked in my brain.

Another great ride with the twtex folks. Thanks to Sander for putting it together and Multisurface Rider for leading the way on day 2. I got a couple of descent pix.

Nice spot for a break on day 1.

Pretty sure this is the Medina River just outside of Castroville.

Do you have a track file you can post please.

I am curious if you were able to follow your intended route down CR 362 and Deep Creek Ranch Rd between Llano and San Saba.

The route was adjusted to bypass that before the ride.

Check the ride announcement thread for the link to the route on motowhere. I also attached the gpx files on that thread. We rode the exact route on Saturday.

"Sound's like your only hitting on two Cylinder's" Firing up that BMW R100GS was our wake-up call, I think we woke up everyone in the county

Need help with names...

I rode with both of you... well actually a long way behind you... at the Roll the Bones Rally when we were chasing Calvin on his R1100GS with the bald back tire :brainsnap

I know you have told me your name a few times, because I ask you every time I see you... but...

:tab I hate that I am so bad with names. Some people's names stick in my head whether I want them to or not, and then ones I REALLY try to remember just won't stick. Very annoying! Beth is like a Rolodex, almost never forgetting a name. Without her around I am lost

Sorry for leaving out the details, I'm a man of a few words! Ha! Joe (dirtryder) and John (Endurorider) joined us in Goldthwaite on the beautiful GS's. Curtis (bultaco) and Chris (dirtbomb) with a special guest appearance by RickM for a short time and Clark with Glenda and Bernice joining us in San Saba.

Okay, Joe and John on the old GS's (which is the one in the blue pants?) Curtis? I know Chris from our Mexico tip a few years back. I am sure I have met RickM several times but have trouble picturing a face. Is that Clark in the second pic I posted?

Good point Silver bullet, we found a wildlife reserve north of Lampasas with camels, antelopes, and a whole host of exotic animals. Can't wait to return with more time to spend. That was Joe in the blue pants and this is Clark, RickM and Curtis.

That's a fun road , ain't it mud? It was on my original Roll The Bones Rally Raid. I hit it every time through. That whole area is prime DS country.
