Seeking retired guys (gals) for week day riding

@Rydah, what bike are you using next week? Do you camp or motel in Center?

I'm slowing down in my old age, so will be on the Husky 701. I try not to camp unless absolutely necessary, so will be hoteling in Center. You joining us?

You joining us?
It's interesting but not sure. I can do a long day not sure can do 2 in a row. I've finished my health tests, get results with doc tomorrow. So there's that to deal with too. So for now just mulling it over.

Hope it's all good news for you tomorrow 🙏

Trying to get @Irishcoffee to a ride, lol.

Nothing on a regular basis, just done a couple random ET200 and Cheeseburger loops.

Speaking of tiddlers, I was talking to Dennis today at Fandango in Fredericksburg. He said one of his buddies wanted to plan the route this year so he was looking forward to riding the tiddler in May for a change.

Talked to service today. They are 99% convinced the fuel pump is getting hot after riding a while. The intermittent miss is the pump struggling to run. So, taking it to them next week. The tiddler meet should be great fun this year.

Hopefully that gets you fixed up.

That's still weird to me though. Is it a known issue with those bikes? Did a heat shield or something fall off? Hard to believe Honda would build something that would allow that to happen. Yeah, please be sure to post up when it's fixed, and be sure to get a rational, detailed explanation from them so we can understand. Looking forward to seeing you again at the Tiddler :rider:

Now that I'm a retired guy, my weekends are better saved for my significant other, since she is still working M-F. Riding during week days also has the advantage of less crowds and lighter traffic on the roads I'm thinking about, which are mostly gonna be dual-sport routes. While I don't mind doing solo rides, it's always more fun when you can share the adventure, right? So, any other retired / off-shift folks on here that might be interested in joining me? First on the list would be a two day, ET500 scout ride. Post up here if interested, and hopefully it will blossom into a regular "club".
Retired as well, located near Lampasas. I'm almost always down for a day ride.

been tryna to start a group in Helotes Texas. then maybe merge with other groups for multi day rides. not tryna steal your post!

I am 180 degrees and 55 miles away from you. Looking for the same.
