What a beautiful day to be a Slacker. So very nice to get away from all the gunk going on near the home front.
Randy and I stayed at the Toad a little too long. Got slammed by rush hour traffic trying to wade thru DFW/downtown. I-35 was stop n go from the Burleson split all the way thru town.
I live a couple of blocks off Airport Frwy and close to the airport so there's no way for me to avoid it. Ugh.
Maybe I should've got a room in Clinton or Hillsboro and come back this morning while traffic was headed the other direction. Ha!

To our Duchess...what a great day for the ride. Many thanks. I was happy to see the fellow Slackers, slacking off.
I enjoyed also having Zephyr ride with the Not Ready for Off Road Riding Remedial Group. Good fun, good catch up...sorry to have to run out so quickly.
I did get my new front tire and as suggested by Sir Yeeha!, the traffic was beyond horrid. It was slasher movie gratuitous in the mess and rerouting.

I got outvoted by the other guys so we ended up at Dales Essenhaus in Walburg.
Its a good place too....but a bit too far south for some of ya'll I kno. Mabe when the days are longer....

By the way, Mr. Superduke 990 aquitted himself rather soundly on said Dirt Road, it was a pleasure being one of two non beemers and noting both non-beemers were on the dirt road. Woo Hoo! Looks like a dirt road bike to me.
